Strathmere, a 200-acre estate near Ottawa, welcomed guests for an open house on Sunday November 10th. The event highlighted the venue’s blend of historical charm and versatility across three venues, with a particular focus on the country chic vibe and surrounding natural grounds.

Along with the its three venues and accommodations, the event showcased the new Retreat Spa & Café, designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. The retreat offers a full suite of spa treatments, hot tubs, mindfulness workshops, and nature trails that weave through the property’s lush landscape, while the café features the same farm-to-table culinary offerings as the halls. Seasonal swimming pools and inviting relaxation areas complete the serene escape, allowing visitors to disconnect and recharge.

The beloved heritage banquet halls are planned for revitalization under the vision and leadership of Dreammind Group’s President, Abbis Mahmoud. The updates will add a modern touch to Strathmere’s rustic yet country chic elegance, enhancing dining options and elevating service while preserving its timeless appeal.
As disruptors in every industry they enter, Dreammind has announced an in-house financing feature. “The economy has been tough on everyone. By creating an in-house financing option, we will be able to offer approachable solutions for those who wish to have the wedding of their dreams,” states Mahmoud.
