Which Team Are You More Interested In, Canada or U.S.A?

Sens fans were robbed of watching Jake Sanderson captain the United States at the World Juniors when the tournament was cancelled on December 29th. It was also very unfortunate to see NHL players again unable to participate in the Olympics.

The ongoing spread of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant has been significant for both decisions. Still, with the Olympic games set to begin on February 4th, roster names and invites are starting to get leaked. Sanderson was a name circulating, and he has since accepted the invitation to represent his country.

The expectation has been for Jake Sanderson to leave North Dakota to join the Ottawa Senators following his sophomore season. With the underwhelming start to the Sens season, all eyes have been on the top prospect to see where he’s at in his development.

With Sanderson set to join the United States at the Olympics, he will compete against the Canadians in Beijing. Canada’s roster has yet to be announced, but again, with Sidney Crosby or Thomas Chabot not participating, the interest level has come down quite a bit.

It leaves us asking which team are Sens fans more interested in watching, Canada or Jake Sanderson and the United States?
