Ottawa Senator Wedding Bells are Everywhere This Spring

The Ottawa Senators have been a fairly lean operation for some time now. With new ownership about to arrive this summer, apparently spending close to $1 billion for the franchise, it will be interesting to see if they expand staffing throughout the organization.

At the rate the players are going this off-season, the team may need to consider hiring a wedding planner.

We already know that Sens captain Brady Tkachuk is getting married this summer to his partner, Emma Farinacci.

And now, in the past month alone, at least three other members of the Ottawa Senators have bent the knee to propose to their longtime girlfriends, all taking to Instagram to announce their big news to the world. In each case, their happy hockey teammates, past and present, jammed their replies with congratulatory messages.

Sens defenceman Thomas Chabot took a knee on a beautiful beach in Anguilla this week to propose to his longtime partner, Marion Pandreau.

Sens centre Jake Lucchini, who played 11 games for the Senators this season, also proposed this week to his girlfriend, Abbie Botz, back home in Madison, Wisconsin.

Senators winger Parker Kelly got the ball rolling in April. While on vacation in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Kelly popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Kiarra McMullan.

The answer, by the way, was yes on all counts.
