Canadian Tulip Festival Starts This Weekend

The Canadian Tulip Festival is back and beginning this Friday, May 11th, where over a million tulips will be spread throughout the entire city.

The theme of the festival this year is “A World of Tulips”, featuring special event days such as a Mothers Day brunch, a Soiree and a Swing Dance. You can find tulips all throughout the Byward Market, Lansdowne Park, Garden Promenade and Dows Lake.

The annual festival comes to an end for another year on May 21st, so be sure to check it out before then. It’s a great event to check out with your family, friends, or special someone. The seemingly never-ending seas of tulips makes it the perfect spot to snap an insta-worthy pic.
