A well-designed home does more than look good—it supports how you live. But turning vision into reality requires more than taste and Pinterest boards. It takes planning, sourcing, scheduling, and problem-solving. That’s where full-service decorating makes a difference. It’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about removing the burden of decision fatigue and logistics, so the experience is as seamless as the end result.

That’s the philosophy at CPI Interiors, an Ottawa-based, full-service design firm that’s helped hundreds of clients reimagine their homes over the past 25 years. Today, under the leadership of Natalie Cox and Megan Patterson, CPI blends function with beauty through a detailed, client-first approach.
“People come to us with ideas, but often they’re overwhelmed by the process,” says Natalie. “Full-service decorating allows us to take care of everything—from space planning and design selections to ordering, delivery, and installation—so they can actually enjoy the transformation.”
The Process, Simplified
Every CPI project begins with a phone call, followed by a complimentary in-home consultation at the client’s home. Designers take time to understand the space, lifestyle, and needs of the people who live there. From there they put together a presentation that includes floor plans, renderings, furniture, finishes, fixtures, lighting, paint colours and complete pricing.
With access to exclusive vendors and trade-only furnishings, clients benefit from curated selections they wouldn’t find in stores. CPI handles all purchasing, scheduling, and installation—coordinating trades, deliveries, and last-minute changes so clients don’t have to.
“A good design doesn’t just look polished—it works in the real world,” Megan says. “That means thinking about how you use a room throughout the day, and making sure it functions beautifully at every stage.”
A Space That Reflects You
Full-service decorating gives clients space to make thoughtful choices—without the pressure of doing it all themselves. Designs are presented with samples, drawings, and renderings to ensure clarity and alignment before moving forward.
It’s an experience that prioritizes ease, but also intention. Rooms are designed to reflect the people who live in them.
“When we finish a project, our goal is for the client to feel like the space truly belongs to them,” says Natalie. “It should feel familiar and fresh all at once.”
Designed to Last
Beyond style and comfort, full-service decorating also prioritizes quality. CPI sources durable pieces that stand the test of time—because timeless design isn’t just about how something looks, but how well it holds up over years of everyday life.
“Our clients aren’t looking for fast furniture,” says Megan. “They want something they’ll still love in five or ten years. That’s why every selection we make is intentional and built to last.”
