The Dhillon Dynamic: A Decade of Growth

When Gurpreet Dhillon left a career in telecom for the mortgage industry, he never expected the passion for mentorship that would emerge along the way. A decade later, Centum Mortgage Masters, the business he launched with his father and brother, has grown from a boutique family operation into a respected brokerage serving Ottawa and the Greater Toronto Area. At its heart, however, it remains a family-driven enterprise, combining personal service with forward-thinking expertise.

Mentorship has been central to their growth. “Building a larger team allows us to reach more people and offer services in multiple languages,” Gurpreet explains. “Watching our agents grow and helping more families reach their financial goals is incredibly rewarding.” His leadership has turned Centum Mortgage Masters into more than just a brokerage—it has become a trusted partner in the community, empowering both clients and professionals.

Harvey Dhillon plays a critical role as team lead and business financing expert. His approach focuses on presenting financing solutions that meet the specific needs of clients and lenders. “There isn’t one strategy for business financing,” Harvey notes. “It’s about making logical, well-prepared requests that build trust with lenders. Only when we establish a clear need can we secure financing that drives business growth.” His expertise broadens Centum’s ability to support clients beyond personal mortgages, helping entrepreneurs thrive.

Despite their expansion, the Dhillons remain committed to maintaining the personal touch that has defined their success. “Transparency, accountability, and teamwork are at the core of everything we do,” says Gurpreet. Harvey echoes that sentiment. “We’ve built a culture where agents share knowledge, support each other, and collaborate to provide the best outcomes for our clients.”

Their approach to first-time homebuyers reflects that same philosophy. “Knowledge is power,” Gurpreet emphasizes. “Taking extra time with clients helps them make informed decisions, especially first-time buyers. Many come back for future investments with a deeper understanding, making the process even smoother.”

As Centum Mortgage Masters continues to grow, the Dhillons are focused on building lasting relationships with their clients. “Growth is important,” Gurpreet reflects, “but we’ll always stay true to the values that got us here—investing time in people, building trust, and focusing on long-term success.
