The Wally & Methot Charity Classic
After launching The Wally & Methot Show in early 2021, and rising to notoriety in the sports podcast world for their energetic and gregarious approach to hockey talk, Brent Wallace and Marc Methot are taking to the fairways in September 2021 in support of youth mental health.
The tournament, set for Friday, September 10th at the Canadian Golf & Country Club, will welcome 100 golfers and will feature several of Ottawa’s local athletes, entertainers and media personalities. Golfers will have a chance to tee off against Marc Methot, Brent Wallace, and other supporters/partners of the show (a fan base that has reached over 100,000 downloads in just 3 months) while joining the fight to support education, awareness, and research initiatives that will help youth to talk openly about mental health issues. It’s a fitting cause for two of hockey’s newest conversationalists.
