After Almost 30 Years, Majic 100 Gets a Facelift: Rebrands as MOVE Radio.

Just in time for a new year, 10 of iHeart Radio stations across Canada have rebranded to a new MOVE Radio, including Ottawa’s Majic 100.

All 10 stations will keep their local programming and continue to play contemporary hits and favourites from the past. Popular morning programming will also remain the same, under the name Ottawa’s MOVE mornings with Stuntman Stu, Angie & Janel.

Beginning this week, weekdays on MOVE feature 60 minutes of non-stop music every hour from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Weekends on MOVE offers listeners a mix of great local programming as well as MOVE Radio’s exclusive top 40 with Ryan Seacrest.

The station has also just launched a month-long content, MOVE Money, which will award $1000 a day to listeners for the next 21 days.

Majic100 aired for the first time in August of 1991. The first song ever played on the station was “Do You Believe in Magic” by The Lovin’ Spoonful.
