Indie rock fans in Ottawa are getting a major show this fall as Mt. Joy officially brings its “Celebrating 10 Years of Mt. Joy” tour to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa on September 11, 2026. The Philadelphia-based band will take over Hard Rock LIVE as part of a milestone tour celebrating a decade of music, touring, and one of indie rock’s most loyal fan communities.

Since forming in 2016, Mt. Joy has grown from an emerging indie folk band into one of the genre’s biggest touring acts. Known for tracks like Silver Lining, Astrovan, and Orange Blood, the group has built a reputation for emotionally charged live performances and festival-ready anthems that have helped them sell out venues including Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Ottawa stop is part of a larger anniversary run celebrating the band’s rapid rise over the past decade, following the success of their critically acclaimed album Mt. Joy (2018), Rearrange Us (2020), and Orange Blood (2022). Their 2024 headline tour alone reportedly sold more than 180,000 tickets across North America and Europe.

The concert takes place at Hard Rock LIVE inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa on Friday, September 11, 2026. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the event is 19+.

For Ottawa’s live music scene, the show marks another major booking for Hard Rock LIVE, which has quickly become one of the city’s most active entertainment venues since opening. With Mt. Joy’s blend of indie rock, folk influences, and high-energy live performances, the anniversary show is shaping up to be one of Ottawa’s standout concerts of the fall season.
