Barenaked Ladies are hosting a live, virtual Christmas concert tonight, featuring hits from Barenaked for the Holidays

According to drummer Tyler Stewart, fans can expect three things from A Very Virtual Christmas: “Great music, a few laughs, and homemade eggnog.”

Like our favourite variety shows from holidays past, the event will feature sketch comedy written by the band, a few special surprises, and performances. Barenaked Ladies are bringing some holiday cheer to you this year.

“Everything’s been cancelled this year, so we haven’t been on the tour bus hanging out, on stage hanging out, or in strange cities finding the best coffee or sandwich: we’re in our homes. So leaving our homes to go to the studio to make joyous Christmas music together and have a few laughs is just what the doctor ordered.” Says Barenaked Ladies drummer Tyler Stewart.

The show is set to go live at 9pm tonight on BNL’s social media.
