George Clooney’s noticeably different appearance is thanks to his role as Augustine, a lonely and scientist living in isolation deep into the arctic, trying to stop a team of astronauts from returning to Earth in order to avoid certain doom.
The movie is an adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s novel Good Morning, Midnight, and co-stars Kyle Chandler, Tiffany Boone, Demian Bichir, and David Oyelowo.
Clooney is not only a leading character in the chilling and suspenseful post-apocalyptic film- instead, The Midnight Sky is one of many movies he’s directed himself.
The movie is set to be released on Netflix in late December.
