Ottawa-Gatineau has seriously upgraded their dessert selection with the opening of Le Cheesecake Bar Gatineau. This one-stop-shop, cafe, dessert bar and lunch express opened in 2017, and has taken the town by storm with its impressive and unending selection of gourmet desserts.
Their flagship product? Gourmet cheesecakes in every flavour desirable. But the list doesn’t stop there. Le Cheesecake Bar Gatineau is a haven for specialty beverages, festive cakes, custom cakes, cookies, a variety of pie flavors, macaroons, cake pops and even specialty brownies.
The menu features an array of specialty lattes, flavoured hot chocolates, espressos and both hot and cold brews. They even have a strawberry cheesecake latte and a Mini Egg Macchiato ready to order.
She and her husband transformed the small shop on Boulevard Maloney six years ago with the vision of becoming the region’s most unique cafe, gift shop and desserterie.
Today, the store has become a not-so-secret gem on both sides of the river, with people driving from as far as Cornwall and Carleton Place to get a bite or a sip of their handcrafted coffee. At Christmas, the already lively shop gets a new life; Log cakes, specialty cheesecakes and holiday-inspired coffees such as peppermint, white chocolate & raspberry are only some of the hottest offerings during December.
