Starbucks May Be Closing Up To 200 Canadian Locations

After reporting major loses amid COVID19 setbacks, Starbucks is looking to restructure its Canadian outfit of over 1,175 locations in Canada.

The statement released in a US regulatory filing outlines Starbucks intentions to “restructure [their] company-operated business in Canada over the next two years, with the potential of up to 200 additional stores being closed, with some of those stores being repositioned.” While the company looks to eliminate some of their locations, they may also downsize locations for pick-up only, in response to increasing demand for convenience.

Starbucks will look to downsize some of their Canadian locations.

The plan is expected to rollout over the next 18 months.
