Winterlude 2020 in Photos

Winterlude 2020 took over Ottawa’s downtown for the past three weekends, celebrating art, culture and true Canadian winters. From award-winning ice sculptors and the light and the sound installations on Sparks Street, to the super snow slides at Jacques-Cartier Park, Winterlude was a smash success for yet another year.

Talented photographers across Ottawa captured the best of the festival. Here are some of the top photos of the last three weeks.

The ice sculptures on Sparks Street and in the market were light up for the perfect photo-op.

Event in daylight, the details in the sculptures couldn’t be missed.

Interactive light activities drew attention from passers-by.

The contrast of light and dark made for some amazing shots.
