This Byward market staple is the go-to for $5 eats. Their menu ranges from Canadian-beef burgers to salads made with organic greens to hearty pasta dishes. The food is unmatched for the price and the atmosphere is super unique. But be warned, the music is loud and the atmosphere is upbeat, so first dates or business lunches might not fly.
2. Pub 101

Right in the heart of the market, this upbeat pub is known for its $6.31 meals and $5.31 drinks. It’s a popular spot for students, but doubles as a great place to watch the game, enjoy some karaoke or watch some live comedy. After 10, it turns into a bar that gets pretty packed – all three floors, that is.
