The renowned Hôtel de Glace returns for another year as North America’s most exclusive ice hotel. Each year, this enchanting establishment undergoes a thematic transformation, captivating both locals and tourists with its fascinating art and winter wonders.

The 2023 theme was ‘night life’, inspired by a variety of influences, from Halloween and Greek mythology to the ethereal realms of dreams and astronomy.

Far from being an ordinary igloo, Hôtel de Glace boasts over 40 uniquely designed themed rooms, including luxurious suites, and a captivating ice chapel too, where people from all over the world visit to get married. This iconic ice hotel usually opens its doors from January to March 29th, making it an accessible 5-hour trip from Ottawa.

More than just a hotel, Hôtel de Glace offers day tours with enticing food and drink packages, providing day guests with a taste of the ultimate Nordik experience. Outdoor saunas, pools, and even an ice bar await exploration, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the stunning architecture without the need to stay overnight.

Some more luxury suites are equipped with fireplaces and intricately carved themes are embellished into the walls built of ice

The Hôtel de Glace is more than just an accommodation, it’s an unforgettable Nordic getaway. Majestic snow arches, crystal-clear ice sculptures, and meticulously designed rooms create a one-of-a-kind winter escape.
