An Urban Drive-In Is Launching In Ottawa/Gatineau July 9th

For four weekends this summer, Zibi will host an urban drive-in, showing two movies a night in July and August 20, 21 and 22 in the capital’s downtown region.

Zibi, the National Capital Region’s new borderless neighbourhood on the Gatineau side of the Ottawa River, will become an outdoor theatre starting July 9th.

The drive-in will show two movies per night, with each weekend following a different theme for movies. The weekend of July 9th – 11th will show action films, July 15th – 18th: cult favourites, July 23 – 25: Quebec, local films, and August 20 – 22: Box office hits.

Zibi has partnered with Manne de L’Ile, a non-profit food distribution organization, to donate $2 of every $30 vehicle fee to the organization’s efforts in the Outaouais.

The drive-in will be set up at Zibi’s Place Des Festivals, and ticket info can be found here.
