Ottawa’s Music Festival At Lansdowne Park Starts Next Week

City Folk Festival – formerly Ottawa Folk Festival – is returning to Lansdowne Park for another year from September 12th – 16th. The festival runs from Wednesday to Sunday, and includes acts like Hozier and Steve Earle & The Dukes. Last year, Post Malone was one of the headliners.

The festival has aimed to be a folk inspired celebration of music, art and community since it’s inception. Its lineup of acts, local vendors and artisans has grown every year. So has its traffic. The festival welcomed over 50,000 attendees last year. Considering that TD Place alone has a capacity of only 24,000 people, that’s not a small number for a venue like Lansdowne.

Tickets can still be purchased online, and the festival offers full passes, day passes, and VIP seating, too.
