Wesley Clover Says Annual Car Show Isn’t Happening, Warns Of Fake Facebook Event

By Jordan Haworth

The National Capital Car Show is a popular event that happens every year in Ottawa.

This year, it was supposed to happen at Wesley Clover Parks, but was postponed until 2021. Despite this, a Facebook page claiming to be the event organizers set the car show as this Saturday, and over 1,000 people have already responded.

“Unfortunately, the event posting that recently appeared on Facebook was fraudulent. Due to COVID, we have not been able to host our annual car show this year,” said Nathalie Levasseur, the operations manager for Wesley Clover Parks.

If you do go, don’t be surprised when there aren’t any muscle cars to ogle over.
