4 Coffee Shops to Try in Ottawa

4 out of 5 people start their day with coffee. If you’re one of them, then today (national coffee day) is for you. Here are four places in Ottawa to have a cup of coffee that, if you’ve never been, you need to try.

Quitter’s Coffee – Stittsville

This cafe just off Stittsville main is a bustling spot that has great coffee, quaint decor and even some craft beer. It’s  one of Ottawa’s west-end favourites that is the perfect place to meet someone for coffee.

Cafe Cristal – Fallowfield

Cafe Cristal is a unique spot to try some amazing coffee, pastries, crepes and other sweets. The decor is reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland; it’s a must-see. The cafe constantly smells like fresh crepes, and their lattes are 5-star. There’s nothing quite like it in the city.

Arlington Five – Centretown

This quaint little Ottawa coffee shop is small but mighty. They make a great cup of coffee – but their fresh-made scones and muffins really take the cake. If you’re ever in centre-town and looking for a Starbucks, make sure to go here instead.

Origin Coffee – Byward Market

Beer, wine, sandwiches, and an awesome Espresso bar. Origin is an Ottawa coffee shop located in an refurbished brick house in the Byward Market that is a great getaway on lunch breaks.
