Marc Lewis: Meet The New President of Remember Me Roofing

When Marc Lewis became President of Remember Me Roofing in early 2024, he stepped into a company with a long-standing reputation for integrity, professionalism, and customer care.

Founded in 2011, Remember Me Roofing has grown into one of Ottawa’s most trusted residential roofing companies. With a team of over 30 employees, the company offers full-service roofing solutions—including inspections, repairs, replacements, and detailed consultations. As a GAF Master Elite® certified contractor, Remember Me Roofing is part of a select group (less than 2% of roofing companies in North America) recognized for exceptional training, product knowledge, and installation quality. Every installer receives annual re-training to ensure the highest standards are consistently met.

Marc Lewis, President of Remember Me Roofing, brings a background in sales leadership and home improvement to his customer-first approach in Ottawa’s roofing industry.

Marc, originally from Ottawa, brings a background in sales leadership, construction, and client service to his role. He’s worked in home design, retail sales, and executive roles that emphasized strong team building and customer-first values. What drew him to Remember Me Roofing wasn’t just the brand—but the people behind it. “Everyone here shares the same mindset: do the right thing, put the customer first, and give back to the community,” he says.

That mindset is evident in the company’s day-to-day operations. Many homeowners call assuming they need a full roof replacement—only to learn a minor repair or simple inspection will do. “We’d rather build long-term trust than close a short-term sale,” says Lewis. “That’s how you get referrals, reviews, and real relationships.”

As summer approaches, Lewis recommends booking early. “If you had issues during the winter—like ice buildup, leaks, or shingle blow-offs—don’t wait. It’s easier and more affordable to address those now than in the middle of another cold season.”

His advice for entrepreneurs? “You can’t do it alone. Surround yourself with good people—your team, your family, your support network. And remember that doing the right thing is always good business.”
