6 Ottawa Spots To Catch A Colourful Winter Sunset

We all need a little bit of vitamin D and serotonin, especially during this time of year.

The Golden hour in Ottawa is like no other in the province and with that in mind, we’ve put together a list of the best spots in the city to watch the sunset.

Parliament Hill

The picture says it all.

Dow’s Lake

Dow’s Lake is beautiful at all hours, and sunset is no exception.

Major Hill Park

Major Hill Park has an incredible view of the city. Take a few minutes to yourself, unwind, and watch the city transform.

Rideau Canal

Along the canal, there are multiple bridges you can stand on and watch the sunset. You’ll see the sky change colors and reflect off the water.

Mooney’s Bay

A quiet beach and park where you can watch the sunset. Grab a blanket and a bottle of your favorite wine, sit back and relax.

Hogsback Fall’s

A waterfall and a sunset?? Enough said.
